Terms and Conditions
Ownership of Goods:
All goods remain the property of SubZero Automotive until paid for in full.
Payment Policy:
All payments can be made via our secure online facility.
Instant payments can be made via PayPal. You can also make credit card payments from Paypal without having to open a Paypal account.
Please DO NOT send eCheque payments via PayPal as they are subject to a clearance
period by PayPal (up to 10 days) and items can only be dispatched once the funds have been released to
SubZero Automotive. We cannot accept
responsibility for goods being oversold if payment is made by eCheque, however
if this occurs you will receive a full refund.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUE PAYMENTS.
Unfortunately due to the fact that there has to be a clearance period on
cheques and goods in the warehouse cannot be reserved pending clearance it is
possible for items to be oversold. To reduce the chance of this happening the
decision was made not to accept cheque payments. SubZero Automotive apologises
to any customers that this may inconvenience.
Oversold
Items:
Stock checks are carried out twice daily with the warehouse but as these items are
sold in more than one eCommerce environment it does occassionally happen that
an item is oversold. In these rare instances you will be notified and fully
refunded immediately.
Returns
Policy:
Please contact us if you wish to return a purchased item.
We require your name, a contact number and the order number of the product
in question. We will then contact you by telephone whenever possible as many
problems can be resolved without incurring postage costs and inevitable
delays. If we agree to accept the return of an item you will be assigned a
returns authorisation number.
Do not return
goods without including this number as
unauthorised returns cannot be accepted.
If an incorrect
item is ordered then, at the sole discretion of SubZero Automotive,
provided the said item is unused and in its original packaging, it may be
returned (at the customer's cost) for a refund provided it reaches us within
14 days of the original sale date. A 15% handling fee will be charged on all order that are cancelled/refunded due to customer error. Replacement items will incur an additional
re-delivery charge.
It is the
customer’s responsibility to ensure that the returned goods are packed
properly and insured against loss.
SubZero Automotive
cannot accept any responsibility for goods damaged or lost in transit to us.
Faulty or
Damaged Items:
We apologise in
advance if any item you receive from us is faulty or damaged upon opening.
Please contact us within 3 working days of delivery to report damaged goods otherwise no returns will be accepted.
Faulty goods are
covered by an exchange policy. The product will be replaced if it is in an "as
new" condition.
Returned items
must be complete i.e. in original packaging with all accessories. When
returning a product, please enclose a copy of your order together with a
covering letter stating your returns authorisation number and a daytime
and evening contact number.
If the returned
product is faulty, it will be replaced at no additional cost to the purchaser.
If the item is no longer available a full refund be given. If the product is
not faulty it will be returned to the purchaser at their expense.
Refunds cannot be made for items that have been damaged due to customer misuse
or modified in any way.
Condensation forming inside a light unit is not considered to be a fault by manufacturers, as it is impossible to avoid. See FAQ
Incorrect
item Received:
Although great
care is taken with all orders, occasionally mistakes can happen. Please contact us
within 3 working days of delivery and we will arrange to
send the order again. The return of larger items will be handled by courier
but in the case of smaller items we request that you return them to us by post
(Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded).
Shipping/Delivery:

Insurance is included in the postage costs.
Items are
delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded(signed for) and Initial City Link
Courier Service.
If Royal Mail or
Initial City Link Courier Service are unable to deliver your order they will
advise you that a delivery attempt had been made and that your parcel will be
held at your local Royal Mail / Courier Service Enquiry Office. There will be
a phone number you can ring to arrange another delivery or you can go and
collect the parcel in person. They will only hold your goods for a maximum of
7 days, after that time they are returned to SubZero Automotive. We reserve
the right to charge postage on re-sent items.
Expected Delivery
times are 2-5 working days. If your item does not arrive within this time,
please contact us and we will investigate this for you.
Shipping / Delivery Charges
Charges are calculated on the actual weight for parcels under 2kg and on volumetric weight on all other orders. You will see that actual cost during the checkout process before making payment.
