This bulb is for headlights without integrated resistors in the wiring
If these bulbs are fitted to a 3V circuit they will produce a yellow light instead of bright white
If you do not have a voltmeter and are fitting these bulbs as replacements in the angel eye headlamps - first check the back of the lamp housing to see if the wires to the bulb run through a rectangular box (resistor) glued to the housing. If a resistor is built into the wiring then you need a 3V bulb. If there is no resistor you need a 12V bulb.
